Thanks for understanding! \nThere will be a sign in & out sheet in the Clubhouse or at the Registration Booth.\nPlease make sure you sign in and out to get credit for your hours. \n  \nTask List:\n\n\nWALK THROUGH COURSES: This Winter and Spring has seen numerous trees come down on ALL courses. “Buck Up” (cut 24″ – 28″ long)” DOWNED trees (only) along trails and shooting lanes. SUMMARY:2026 Board Elections
DESCRIPTION:CRB BOARD ELECTIONS 2026 \nElections for Cedar River Bowmen Board of Director positions will be done at the January 8th\, 2026\, meeting at 6:30PM in the Clubhouse. All positions are open at elections. \nCurrently we have members for certain positions\, although all positions are open. The following positions still need a candidate: \nOne (1) Trustee Position (2-year position) \nTrustees shall be responsible for the following duties: \nServe as the voice of the membership. \nEnsure present and future CRB policies and procedures are in the best interests of the membership. \nShall serve on committees as approved by the Board of Directors and/or as appointed by the President. \nPerform such other duties as may be indicated by the title and from time to time as prescribed by the President\, the Board of Directors\, Constitution\, Bylaws\, or Appendices. \nPresident (TBD DOE) \nThe President shall be responsible for the following duties: \nServe as Chairman of The Board of Directors\, preside at all meetings of CRB\, appoint all Committee Chairmen\, oversee all the activities of the Board of Directors and of CRB\, and shall have such other powers and duties from time to time as prescribed by the Board of Directors\, Constitution\, Bylaws\, Appendices\, or as shall be incident to the Office. \nSecretary (TBD DOE) \nThe Secretary shall be responsible for the following duties: \nKeep the minutes of all business meetings of CRB. \nMinutes from the monthly Board of Directors “regular” meeting shall be in a “group email” format to the Board of Directors within five (5) days following a Board of Directors “regular” meeting. The Board of Directors shall review the minutes and an email vote to accept or reject the minutes shall follow within forty-eight (48) hours after receiving the Board of Directors “regular” meeting minutes from the Secretary. This special voting process shall carry the same requirements regarding a quorum to be considered official (as if voting in person) and a minimum of a majority vote by the Board of Directors shall be required. \nThe results of such a voting process shall be recorded by the Secretary and made available to the membership through the next Board of Directors “regular” meeting minutes. \nMeeting minutes shall then be published in the current month’s “Puffs of Smoke” (CRB Membership Newsletter). \nMaintain the records of CRB. \nGive notifications of all meetings of CRB. \nConduct correspondence. \nPerform such other duties as may be indicated by the title and from time to time as prescribed by the Board of Directors\, Constitution\, Bylaws\, or Appendices. \n  \nYou must be a current member in good standing to run for a position. \nIf you’d like to join the Board\, please reply to contact@cedarriverbowmen.org.  \nThank you\, \nCRB

These gatherings are a great way to connect with fellow members while helping to keep our club safe\, clean\, and running smoothly.\nPlease note: For safety\, all Courses—including the Clubhouse\, Flat Range\, Broadhead Range\, and Indoor Range—will be closed to shooting during work parties and until all work is finished. Thanks for understanding! \nThere will be a sign in & out sheet in the Clubhouse or at the Registration Booth.\nPlease make sure you sign in and out to get credit for your hours. \n  \nTask List:\n\n\nWALK THROUGH COURSES: This Winter and Spring has seen numerous trees come down on ALL courses. “Buck Up” (cut 24″ – 28″ long)” DOWNED trees (only) along trails and shooting lanes. Stack up that wood just off the trails to be taken to the firewood shed to be split and stacked.\n\nRemove debris\, branches\, and leaves from trails\, shooting lanes\, and around target sheds.\nStack any trimmings or branches from walk through courses in the designated burn pile located by the clubhouse\nClean up any mess or garbage and dispose of garbage.\nRemove firewood from courses\, split\, and stack on left side of firewood shed.\n\n\n\nCLUBHOUSE\, COOK SHACK\, REGISTRATION BOOTH\, CAMP SITES\, KIDS’ PLAY AREA\, AND FIREWOOD SHED: \n\nStack any trimmings or branches in the designated burn pile located by the clubhouse. Clubhouse firewood box should be full at all times.\nClean up any mess or garbage and dispose of garbage.\nSplit and stack any firewood by the firewood shed needing it.\n\n\n\nFLAT RANGE AND SAND PITS:\n\nWeed-eat and trim flat range perimeter back as much as possible. \nStack any trimmings or branches in the designated burn pile located by the clubhouse.\nWeed-eat\, trim\, and clean up around and in the sand pits. \nClean up any mess or garbage and dispose of garbage.\n\n\nMAIN ROADWAY\n\nPrune any overhead low hanging branches (For RVs).\nStack any trimmings or branches in the designated burn pile located by the clubhouse.\nMain roadway potholes can be filled and packed as needed using the gravel piles by “B3”. A shovel\, gravel rake and wheelbarrow (or 5-gallon buckets) will be needed.
