2026 Board Elections

CRB BOARD ELECTIONS 2026

Elections for Cedar River Bowmen Board of Director positions will be done at the January 8th, 2026, meeting at 6:30PM in the Clubhouse. All positions are open at elections.

Currently we have members for certain positions, although all positions are open. The following positions still need a candidate:

One (1) Trustee Position (2-year position)

Trustees shall be responsible for the following duties:

Serve as the voice of the membership.

Ensure present and future CRB policies and procedures are in the best interests of the membership.

Shall serve on committees as approved by the Board of Directors and/or as appointed by the President.

Perform such other duties as may be indicated by the title and from time to time as prescribed by the President, the Board of Directors, Constitution, Bylaws, or Appendices.

President (TBD DOE)

The President shall be responsible for the following duties:

Serve as Chairman of The Board of Directors, preside at all meetings of CRB, appoint all Committee Chairmen, oversee all the activities of the Board of Directors and of CRB, and shall have such other powers and duties from time to time as prescribed by the Board of Directors, Constitution, Bylaws, Appendices, or as shall be incident to the Office.

Secretary (TBD DOE)

The Secretary shall be responsible for the following duties:

Keep the minutes of all business meetings of CRB.

Minutes from the monthly Board of Directors “regular” meeting shall be in a “group email” format to the Board of Directors within five (5) days following a Board of Directors “regular” meeting. The Board of Directors shall review the minutes and an email vote to accept or reject the minutes shall follow within forty-eight (48) hours after receiving the Board of Directors “regular” meeting minutes from the Secretary. This special voting process shall carry the same requirements regarding a quorum to be considered official (as if voting in person) and a minimum of a majority vote by the Board of Directors shall be required.

The results of such a voting process shall be recorded by the Secretary and made available to the membership through the next Board of Directors “regular” meeting minutes.

Meeting minutes shall then be published in the current month’s “Puffs of Smoke” (CRB Membership Newsletter).

Maintain the records of CRB.

Give notifications of all meetings of CRB.

Conduct correspondence.

Perform such other duties as may be indicated by the title and from time to time as prescribed by the Board of Directors, Constitution, Bylaws, or Appendices.

You must be a current member in good standing to run for a position.
